Notes on Taking Care of RPG's House and Dogs.

1. The dogs get fed once a day---between 5pm and 7:30pm, if possible. Each dog
gets some dry and some wet food. The dry food is Purina Dog Chow is in a green
bag. Fill each bowl to slightly above the top of the rim. The wet food comes in
a tall can (KalKan). Each dog gets 1/4 can per meal. So, a large can should last
2 days. The dog food is located in the back room near the door that exits to their
yard. The can opener is either on the counter or in the drawer to the right of
the sinks. Use any large spoon for the wet dog food. Put the unused portion of
wet food in the refrigertor.

When you feed the dogs, the beveled dish is placed on the right of the stoop as
you face out the back door from the kitchen. The female dog (Yana) eats out of
this dish. The male dog (Yuri) is on the left. For some reason if you don't do
this they are slightly perturbed.

2. Check the water in the morning and at night. You may have to clean the water
bowl a bit because Yana washes her feet in it occasionally. The dogs mainly
drink out of the tall, brown bucket.

3. Check the `droppings' once a day or every few days. I shovel it into the
garbage can (more later).

4. On the refrigerator there is a tube of Cutter's insect repellent. If you
can, put some of this on their ears (you'll see where) every day. Check that
the Stinky does not go dry (hanging bottle over the back fence near the gate).

5. Make sure that both latches on the back gate are latched when you come and
go.

6. Give them 1 each Milk Bone once a day or every other day.

7. The garbage can on the right (as you face the fence from the driveway)
is the only one that they pick up, on fridays.

8. I get the Chronicle in the morning, so you ought to bring that in.

9. Please bring in the mail too.

10. I usually never lock the back door (since the dogs are there) but always
lock the front door.

11. The landlord's name is John Woodworth at 301 Addison Ave, Palo Alto. He
is in the book.

12. To use the Hammond: There are 2 switches at the upper right hand
corner. One is spring loaded and is on the left of the 2. Turn that switch
on and count to 4. Then switch on the right hand switch as you keep the
left switch on for another count to 4. the let switch is a starter motor.
Then use the reversed black and white keys at the left of each manual to
select either stops or the drawbars at the top. Experimentation is needed.
The switch on the left of the organ (attached to the side panel) is the
Leslie (experiment).

13. To use the stereo, the only trick is that the `mute' button should be used
between any changes of settings, power-ons, and record changes. The tuner
is below, but is very old and crufty.
